This equipment is a four-head linked liquid filling machine featuring a modular layout that integrates multiple functional units including conveying, guiding, positioning, filling, control, and collection. It is suitable for continuous quantitative filling operations of bottles of various specifications. The following provides a functional description and operational logic for each major component.
I. Conveying and Guiding Unit
The infeed end is equipped with a conveying mechanism responsible for orderly feeding empty bottles into the filling area. The conveyor speed can be adjusted according to production line rhythm to ensure smooth and continuous bottle supply. Guide rails are installed on both sides of the conveying path and can be adjusted based on bottle diameter to keep bottles centered during movement, preventing deviation or tipping, and providing accurate positioning for subsequent filling operations.
II. Height Adjustment Mechanism
To accommodate different bottle heights and filling valve position requirements, the equipment is equipped with a manual adjustment mechanism. By rotating the adjustment handle, the entire filling valve assembly can be raised or lowered, enabling precise control of the distance between the filling nozzle and the bottle mouth. This adjustment method is simple to operate, suitable for multi-variety changeover scenarios, and requires no additional tools.
III. Stopping and Positioning System
The filling area is equipped with front and rear stopping mechanisms that work together to position bottles accurately. When bottles flow into the filling station and reach the preset count, the front stopper extends to prevent subsequent bottles from advancing; the rear stopper simultaneously extends to precisely position the bottles at the filling station, ensuring the filling heads align with the bottle mouth centers when lowered, improving filling stability and consistency.
IV. Filling Execution Unit
The equipment is equipped with four independently controlled filling heads that operate simultaneously to increase output per unit time. Each filling head has independent start/stop functionality, allowing flexible shutdown for maintenance or in case of anomalies at individual stations without affecting overall line operation. Filling volume can be set via the human-machine interface, with the system automatically matching corresponding control parameters.
V. Electrical Control and Human-Machine Interaction
The equipment control core is integrated within the electrical control cabinet, housing PLCs, relays, drives, and other key components responsible for overall logic control and signal processing. The human-machine interface features a touchscreen design, providing operators with parameter setting, operation monitoring, alarm inquiry, and manual debugging functions through an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.
VI. Anti-Drip Collection Device
To address potential minor leakage from filling valves during idle intervals, a collection tray is installed beneath the filling heads to catch drips, preventing contamination of the conveyor belt and bottle surfaces, maintaining a clean work area, and reducing subsequent cleaning and maintenance burdens.
